David attended the University Of Western Ontario where he obtained a B.A. in 1982 and an L.L.B. in 1985. He moved from Ontario to British Columbia in 1985 to begin his career.
He was called to the Bar in British Columbia in 1986 and has practiced exclusively in Ladysmith since then.
David’s areas of expertise are in wills and estates, and family law, plus he has a broad range of knowledge of other areas of the law developed over the last 25 years in providing legal services in a small community.
He was the Area Director for the Legal Services Society from 1992 until 2001 in Ladysmith, was a director for the Ladysmith Resource Center Association—a non-profit association in Ladysmith—from 2001 to 2004, and is presently a Director on the Board of the Ladysmith & District Credit Union.
David lives with his wife in Ladysmith and has two adult children.
